Outpatient Physical and Occupational Therapy

OrthoMaryland offers comprehensive outpatient physical and occupational therapy for patients recovering from surgery or serious injury. With a commitment to results-oriented therapy, our patients benefit from a treatment plan based on communication between your physician and therapist, and a comprehensive evaluation of the problem. This plan will include a variety or coordinated healing techniques that help promote a return to function and reduced pain.

Frequently Treated Concerns:

• Arthritis and other inflammatory joint diseases
• Back Pain
• Hand, wrist or elbow injuries
• Neck, shoulder, knee, hip, ankle and foot post-operative care
• Neurological conditions (e.g. multiple sclerosis, Parkinson’s disease)
• Work-related injuries, including carpal tunnel syndrome and tendonitis
• Sport-related injuries

Instructions for New Patients (1st visit)

Please arrive at least 15 minutes early to complete your required paperwork. Prior to your initial treatment, you will receive a thorough evaluation from a licensed physical and/or occupational therapist. Be sure to wear or bring comfortable clothing; treatment is usually started on your first visit to speed the recovery process.

A 24 hour cancellation notice, prior to the scheduled appointment, is required.
