Fellowship trained at the internationally renowned Cincinnati Sports Medicine and Orthopaedic Center, Dr. Riederman heads the Sports Medicine Outreach Program at OrthoMaryland. “It [the program] gives me the opportunity to educate our patients about the importance of staying healthy and physically fit,” he says. “I find the whole process very rewarding.”
When not treating patients at OrthoMaryland, Dr. Riederman serves as a team physician for several local high schools. In doing this, he frequently draws upon his past experiences as a basketball player, which helps him better empathize with and educate the students he treats.
His participation in national and international orthopaedic courses and seminars is yet another way he stays current on the rapidly changing field of sports injury treatment.
