Spine & Neck Care at the Maryland Back Institute, an OrthoMaryland Center of Excellence

The fellowship-trained spine specialists at OrthoMaryland make up the Maryland Back Institute, one of our Centers of Excellence. Our physicians treat all types of orthopaedic spine disorders, such as neck problems, degenerative disc disease and osteoporosis. In addition to our advanced surgical capabilities, we offer the latest nonsurgical options, including specialized spinal injections like facet joint injections and sympathetic blocks. (For more information about OrthoMaryland’s acute pain management and physiatry services for the spine, click here.)

If surgery is required to treat a spine condition, patients can have confidence in the abilities of our board-certified orthopaedic surgeons, all of whom are well versed in the latest minimally invasive orthopaedic techniques. OrthoMaryland also serves as a premier learning destination for spine surgery residents and fellows who come to observe the latest orthopaedic advances in spine care. Our specialists regularly conduct spine research studies as well.
